  • Domingos Quina starts for Watford tonight in their Carabao Cup game.
  • That name sound familiar ;hmm
    imagelost
  • Yeah, Watford. Prem team aren't they?

    ;run
  • Byram starts, too, for Nottingham Forest. Whips a cross in - 1-0, 2 mins into the game ;scarf
    imagelost
  • Byram injured.

    Shocker.
  • He is a bit of a sick note too.
  • Bit harsh, Luke. He got crunched in a tackle.
  • Did he get a yellow card before the crunching tackle?

I wouldn't say crunched, Mrs G. He blocked a cross and turned his knee. Looked pretty innocuous to me.

Shame for the lad, but he does seem to always be injured.
  • Quina just scored a cracker for Watford
  • ;wave
    Most eyebrow raising
    Notts forests 3 Newcastle 1

Will go on to become a world star with Watford selling him to Barcelona for 225M Euros in eighteen months.

Messrs Gold and Sullivan will blame someone within the club for not inserting a sell on clause whilst Quina will say in the Spanish papers his heart was always with us, he just wanted a chance to play in claret n blue and would never have left us... ;whistle

    #Just sayin'
  • According to internet gossip (I know) there's a (?10%) sell-on clause.

So let's hope he goes for 225m ;wahoo
  • Macclesfield at home. They don't come much tougher....
    jay_in_cpt
  • Herb who at home ,,, too lazy to look
  • We may not be as glamorous as some other PL sides, but with 45% of the gate going to them, they've done very nicely.

You say it like that's a bad thing?
  • When you hear there's only one League 2 side left in the competition, you know they'll draw West Ham!
  • That is odd because Man Utd normally get them. ;hmm

  • Kids for £1. Buy one ticket, get one free.

The next generation of potential football fans traumatised because the parents thought they would take them along to see West Ham on the cheap for 50p.

Probably school next day could be tricky
  • That's the second week of my two weeks "summer" annual leave but I'll be flying from West Virginia on Tuesday and I don't get back to London until Wednesday morning.

Fingers crossed they switch it to Wednesday.

Meanwhile Spurs have been drawn at home to Watford and have asked if they can play in Milton Keynes. Just when you thought it couldn't get funnier...
    imagelostMrsGrey
  • We play Chelsea at home on the Sunday before so a good chance it will be Wednesday. ;ok
  • Fantastic. I'll be jet lagged so it will feel like an afternoon ko to me.
  • What are you doing in Virginia ASLEF? I was out there earlier this year. Wonderful place
  • Its West Virginia rather than Virginia. I'm visiting a friend in Charleston (not the famous one, that's in South Carolina), I've been there before and its very quiet.
