I thought I'd start a specific thread for WH Women's chat, as the conversation usually takes place in an existing thread and is hard to find as a result.

A few things to share to get us started.

1. Despite having the Australian keeper on our boogs, we have signed two keepers in the past fortnight. We signed Ireland goalkeeper Megan Walsh from Brighton last week - https://www.whufc.com/news/west-ham-united-sign-republic-ireland-international-megan-walsh - and Katelin Talbert from Benfica, though we have loaned her straight out to Djurgårdens IF in Sweden - https://www.whufc.com/news/west-ham-united-sign-goalkeeper-katelin-talbert

2. People have probably already seen this, but our captain and best player is going to miss the 2023/24 season as she's pregnant, which feels like a fairly big blow to our aspirations - https://www.whufc.com/news/dagny-brynjarsdottir-announces-pregnancy

Young Jack has found his metier, away with the twitter, well done young man but of course the real heroes are the women and their gaffer Karen Ray. ;clap ;scarf It is a very good start now that the ladies team has been integrated into the club proper but there is a long way to go. Onwards and upwards. ;scarf
