First 8 fixtures - Good Vibrations or God Only Knows?

Think given the circumstances 12 would be the least I would hope for. Anything less would certainly be a disappointment, and 14 or more would, imo, be a terrific start.

For comparison, we averaged just below 1.66 points per game last year, so would need 13 to keep that up for these 8 games.

As always, this isn't a prediction thread, it is a 'what is your least expectation from these games' question.

    6 very winnable games out of those 8. I'd be disappointed with less than 13.

    Hard to predict the first couple games of a season

    Teams can fly out the blocks or they can fall away quick

    Again out of the possible 24 I'd like to see at least 12

    I've got us down for 14 which is a tad optimistic given I have us undefeated at home....

    I am going for 16 but think we might get lucky and pick up a point at City. I am far too optimistic for my own good!

    If we beat Chelsea I cant see us losing any of the rest...we have a better squad than last season, albeit lacking Cressie and Lanzini.....I have a good feeling about this season.22pts

    Grey I would drop 3 points from mine down to 13, anything less than that and I think we would be under performing.

    12 is the least. Think playing teams like Chelsea & Man City early is good: no high expectations, and we can spring a few surprises. Remember Arsenal & Liverpool last year??

    12 would be a nice comfortable start, 14+ would be great. But a lot will depend on what those around us are getting.

    12 points would be decent. 14 excellent. Any more than that we will all be shouting that we could be champions!
