Another report from the same meeting. Most of the same points mentioned as were in the last post. I did like the idea of Billy Bonds getting more recognition as to my generation ( post Moore and Hurst) he really was the man, and the character many associate with West Ham.

There was talk about speaking to Chelsea and looking at ways to put on away trains solely for West Ham fans

Whatever was meant by that I think the answer is no

That would have been pre-2007 when the East London line was run by London Underground and you could switch from the District via St Mary's curve at Whitechapel but that was decommissioned when London Overground took over.

Honestly we hardly have enough drivers to run a full timetable as it is without adding in football specials

They should perhaps advertise externally for drivers, I very much doubt there would be a shortage of applications.

So it would appear the board reduced the interest rate on the shareholder loans April 2017. It's now around 4% instead of the previous 6/7% ;thumbsup

We owe them 45m as it stands, they've taken a bit more back as they did the year before.

And we've got a new facility to replace the Payday loans, with Tabor's company Media Rights (?) and that was why the training grounds were mortgaged. 50m facility and we've used 25m already and another 15m in Jan, all to be paid back when the TV money comes in from this season.

180m revenue and wages at around 95m now.

looks like the Real West Ham Fans Action Group is over 10,000 members on FB now after only a few weeks. Some of their requests have already started to be actioned, they are looking to give out flyers at the CFC or AFC game and any protest will be the NUFC home game.

Yes, but the advantage of it is enables them to dismiss anyone who disagrees with them as 'not real fans'.

It saves so much time.

Edit: the other response to anyone who disagrees with them is to characterise it as 'turning on your own'.. ie, disloyalty. lol

All safety critical workers on the railways have legal restrictions as to how many hours they can work in a week, how many days they can work without a rest day and a minimum rest period between shifts

If there's work that needs doing why not employ enough people rather than relying on overtime.

They did that back in the early 2000s, out of the thousands of applicants they got about 300 that passed the initial assessment but only about 30 eventually qualified as drivers, the rest ended up working on stations and were allowed to reapply for driver after 6 months.

They advertise externally for the part time Night Tube drivers, out of the 190 or so who started last year about 140 were external candidates, I think they're allowed to apply for full time driver position after 18 months.
