PFA Team of the Year

So, the PFA Team of the Year has been announced and is unsurprisingly dominated by the top two:

GK: Ederson (Man City)

DR: Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)
DC: Van Dijk (Liverpool)
DC: Laporte (Man City)
DL: Robertson (Liverpool)

MC: Bernardo (Man City)
MC: Fernandinho (Man City)
MC: Pogba (Man Utd)

FW: Starling (Man City)
FW: Aguero (Man City)
FW: Mane (Liverpool)

I think that the Pogba inclusion shows the issue with voting so early in the season, as I believe the voting took place during the OGS caretaker reign when Pogba was brilliant.

For "fun", I've made my team of the year for the rest of the top six (Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd), the best of the rest (7th to 12th), and then the relegation fighters (13th down).

DR: Azpilicueta (Chelsea) / Doherty (Wolves) / Lowton (Burnley)
DC: Rudiger (Chelsea) / Coady (Wolves) / Schar (Newcastle)
DC: Vertonghen (Spurs) / Maguire (Leicester) / Dunk (Brighton)
DL: Shaw (Man Utd) / Digne (Everton) / Mee (Burnley)

MC: Kante (Chelsea) / Doucoure (Watford) / Brooks (Bournemouth)
MC: Eriksen (Spurs) / Rice (West Ham) / Ward-Prowse (Southampton)
MC: Pogba (Man Utd) / Maddison (Leicester) / Camarasa (Cardiff)

FW: Son (Spurs) / Zaha (Palace) / Wilson (Bournemouth)

    I think some of that is a pretty lazy selection (the PFA team, not yours alderz). Very easy to select those players given who they play for & going off the stats. Mine would be:

    Ederson
    Doherty - van Dijk - Coady - Robertson
    Ramsey - Neves - Bernardo
    Mane - Son - Sterling

    Hard to manage I know, but feel that there should be a cap of how many players can be from each team, maybe 3/4?

    On the actual PFA team, feel Eriksen was unlikely to miss out over Pogba

    Also id be tempted to swap Son for Aguero, easily been spurs best player
