    Hammer - Fabs
    Signing - Fabs
    Goal - Yarmalenko
    Save - Morata (face save)
    Performance - Anderson v Saints
    Team Performance - Arsenal
  • This sums up the season: at one point we had plenty of contenders; now we have Fab & Rice (and possibly Snodders) Players like Diop, Arnie and Anderson have not maintained their form, and others have been injured for long spells.
    Hammer - Fabianski
    Signing - Balbuena
Goal - I loved Antonio's header against Leicester, because it involved half the team and Noble delivered a class left-foot cross
Performance - Rice v Arsenal and Man U away
    Team - Arsenal
  • Hammer of the Year: Fabianski
    Signing of the season: Fabianski

Best Individual Performance: Chicharito v Huddersfield ( changed the game in his super sub performance )
Best Team Performance: Newcastle ( Away )

Save of the season: Fabianski vs Man Utd ( Fellani )
Goal of the season: Anderson vs Crystal Palace

IMO not a great season when either a keeper or DM wins HOTY. ( A bit like De Gea winning it at Man Utd in their recent decline )

  • Phil Parkes won it in 1981, we won the 2nd Div 13pts clear of Notts County in 2nd and were robbed by Clive Thomas in the League Cup final. That wasn't a bad season.
  • Its a pity that they timed this a week or 2 early , I mean the Spurs game/ performance etc might have changed a few choices....
  • It definitely could be a contender in the team performance, and honestly the goal was very high quality too... :hmm:
