  • In the words of Ham:

Vaz Te to bundle in a Guy Demel pull-back

    coyi
  • Fabianski
    Zabaleta - Diop - Ogbonna - Masuaku
    Snodgrass - Obiang - Rice - Anderson
    Arnautovic - Carroll

Freshen the side up with Zab, Mas, Obiang & Carroll to bring a bit of energy after the Xmas period. Andy & Arnie should be a handful up top. Need Ogbonna & Diop to have better games but should be helped by having Zab back.

Tough nut to crack are Brighton. Won’t be easy.
  • Would prefer Antonio to Carroll & Cresswell for Masuaku

    Fab
    Zab Diop Oggy Cressy
    Snodgrass Obiang Rice Anderson
    Antonio Arnie

Once again I feel this isn't gonna be straightforward, injuries & fatigue will play a huge part for both teams

But I trust the team can get the 3 points

Plus Brighton have beaten us on the last 3 occasions.
  • Glenn Murray. Oh dear.

In recent games Brighton have packed the midfield, 4-5-1, we might need to match them or risk being outnumbered in the middle as we were against Watford.

    Fab
    Zab?? Diop Oggy Cress
    Noble Rice Obiang
    Snoddy Arnie Anderson
  • Brighton win. Players are out of juice.
  • We need to match their intensity we should have enough quality to win scrappy 1-0 win Carroll header
  • Like Lukaku, Son and Deeney, Glen Murray has a habit of always scoring against us, so I fully expect this to happen again.

    2-1 Brighton.
  • Home win.

    Snodders to score.
  • I think ASLEF is right. 3 in midfield and let the front three do their thing.
  • Isn't Noble suspended for this one though? ;hmm

Do you mean yellow cards? That deadline's gone...

It was 19 games, in the PL, so 27 December http://www.thefa.com/news/2018/jul/31/red-yellow-cards-technical-area-2018-19 )
  • Yeah, thought I read that his booking against Burnley meant he was out of the Brighton game, but looks like that was wrong.

3 years ago today we beat Liverpool at Anfield 2-0.

Lets hope AC has got his plaits in today #superstitious #nonsense

    ;wahoo
  • Nasri I imagine will make the bench given we have been filling it with youngsters & looks like Zab is back in contention too.
  • Not confident at all in this game as Brighton seem to have the hoodoo over us but hopefully we bounce back from Sunday. Would be ace to reach 30 points before we kick off the FA Cup.

I very much hope so, we do not have an adequate replacement. Something that the manager and board need to address, if not in this window, in the summer.

3 changes to side tonight with Nasri on the bench, says Ex.

    I’m thinking:

    Fabianski
    Zabaleta - Diop - Ogbonna - Masuaku
    Obiang - Rice
    Snodgrass - Antonio - Anderson
    Arnautovic
  • It's gone to far I'm afraid. It's up to the team to turn it around for me.
  • Carroll starts. Nasri on the bench.
