  • Could be televised as it's likely to be one of if not the last tie considering our game against Spurs is now Jan 4th
  • Never quite understood the Palace vs Brighton rivalry- most others tend to be fairly logical
  • Sunderland vs Middlesbrough will have the locals excited

Think it's simply because they are pretty close in the fact you can get on a southern railway train and be at each other's grounds in about 30 mins. Brighton probably had no one else near them so adopted palace to hate.
  • Apparently the rivalry goes back to when Venables and Mullery managed them. Good link below -

  • CT - thanks for posting that, still a little bit weird but there are weirder things in life ;ok
  • That's a pretty interesting back story
  • Shrewsbury's New Meadow holds 9875 but can be expanded to 10361 with temporary seating. So a bit like the London Stadium............
  • Is the temporary seating just a bunch of fold up chairs from Argos brought out alongside the pitch or does it include rooftop viewing?
  • Arsenal are away

  • Twelve years, what will all the Manchester United fans in Surrey do! ;wink
