Welcome to the Hammers ... Poor young guy already being called names and hasn't even started a match yet ;whome ;wahoo ;scarf ( special shout out to pards , he has been calling for this signing for over a year or so ;ok )
Ooh another promising signing we are being spoilt I am used to dodgy over the hill foreign players coming in for one last pay day ;lol Fair play to the Dave's the transfer policy has been excellent the last couple of years ;clap
This is a shrewd bit of business by the Dave's - even if if is "solid but unspectacular, with the odd mistake thrown in" he will very quickly be worth at least treble what they have just paid for him pretty quicklypurely down to the fact he is young and English
Seriously though, he probably heard Martinez spout out all sorts of gibberish - no wonder he was reluctant to sign on their dotted line - we have so much more to offer than them, and he can be rest assured his alloys won't get pinched
Everton have the likes of lukaku, Barkley, stones, Coleman, etc and YET they still lurch slightly towards the end of the table which is familiar to Roberto..
I would say that we now have a stronger team to Everton. A couple of seasons ago if you had to make a starting 11 out of the two teams it would have been mostly Everton players, however I now think that it would be dominated by West Ham players.

Potentially could have 2 15m full backs for less than half that price paid.

But what stands out to me is the fortunes of Leeds. Remember they took Rio off our hands.
Not saying that Byram is the new Rio but how times have changed.
Revenge is a dish best served cold.
Don't see it as revenge either.
