Those were the days my friends, 1966 when football arrived

Did anyone catch 5 lives trip down the cobbled streets of footballing legend and went through the World Cup of 1966. It was very interesting. There were contributions from Hurst, Geavsie, Bally, Cohen, Bobby C, Jimmy Armfield. I missed the start and picked it up from the Q-fs when the radio man said it was a West Ham goal- as Peters past to Hurst to head in the winner, and every one asfter that was aWest Ham goal of some combination of our trio. Hurst explained how Nobby Stiles nobbled Eusbio and howhe had applauded England after. HURsast nearly missed out as Greavsie reported match fit but apparently Moore, his room mate told Sir Alf he had a slight twinge still.all good stuff and that BBC finally recognised who won the trophy....
