Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion could be set to go head-to-head to land West Ham's versatile defender James Tomkins, reports the Daily Mail.
Tomkins only put pen to paper on a five-year deal last summer but Slaven Bilic is believed to be open minded about allowing the 27-year-old to move on, despite playing him 25 times last season.
The Potters and Baggies are both keen on Tomkins, although they face competition from Crystal Palace and Sunderland for his signature.
West Ham are ready to step up their interest in Matt Ritchie by making a second bid to sign the Bournemouth star, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Slaven Bilic has already seen a £25million attempt to lure midfielder Ritchie and forward Callum Wilson away from the south coast rejected by opposite number Eddie Howe.
Now the Irons gaffer might test the water again with an £8m offer on Ritchie, a figure the Telegraph claims could rise to £10m based on appearances, although the Cherries remain determined to keep hold of the 26-year-old.
Everyone knows we want a top-class striker. And if we can get a 20-goals-a-season man, there's no reason why we can't improve on last season and challenge the Premier League's top teams," Bilic told the Mail.
West Ham are looking to replace Diafra Sakho with Cologne striker Anthony Modeste.
Leicester, Everton and West Ham are all interested in signing Milan striker M'Baye Niang, with the Foxes also keeping an eye on Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina.

Could be a decent addition?

Surely Dimitri can see the logic in making a "Mark Key" signing to help the team develop and go onto bigger things with him being part of the success?

SWANSEA & WATFORD CHASE JUVE STAR
Both Swansea and Watford are reportedly tracking Juventus midfielder Roberto Pereyra, according to reports in Italy.
According to Gazzatta dello Sport, Juve will not allow the Argentina international to leave for less than €18m.
Pereyra, who has also been linked with West Ham, is expected to have his future resolved in the next few weeks.
