  • So my American soon to be Mrs introduced me to the Boston Red Sox, I introduced her to West Ham, now we’re both fanatical about each other’s teams and now our favourite baseball team will be playing at our favourite football team’s stadium on what will be our first wedding anniversary. Things do work out well sometimes. ;thumbsup ;scarf ;scarveng

    Cheers Vorse.

It was a bit weak, a vox pops rather than anything concrete.

For me, each time I go to a game I like it a little less. The fan 'kettling' is over the top and often unnecessary. Routes to Stratford International DLR are virtually via Dublin. Even without crowds and queues we are still taken the long way around, causing fans to miss trains.

On that note, the District line used to lay on extra trains, the DLR does not.

  • Renewed my season ticket, hoping and expecting a better season staring in August.

  • 92% ST renewal announced on OS. Beats last years renewals.

  • I’m guessing that is about the going rate when you have a possible 52k? Plenty of people drop out every year and always have for varying reasons. The important thing is they’re selling them and hopefully filling it

WHU is 8th on turnover at £183m. (Although if you look at the actual numbers, the gap between that and the top bunch - ManU highest at a whopping £581m- is huge. Liverpool is double ours, and they are 3 places above us.)

Wages: 11th in the league (although at 52% of turnover, that's probably about the right level).

Some interesting reading there. Not to mention some eye-watering numbers.

Chelsea continue to make a loss ;hmm
